Ice Cream Parlor: Ice Cream Gallery at 242C Tanjong Katong, Singapore

Chanced upon a new ice cream joint at Katong that day called The Ice Cream Gallery. It was really new, because it wasn't there when I was there a couple of months ago. What struck me was the decor of the place that drew me to place my hands on the giant ice cream sticks and push the glass door.

The place was decorated with Snapple bottles and their ice cream take out containers on shelves. Quite innovative. Small space, but rather cosy.

Plenty of flavors to choose from, including durian (we could smell it even though they tried covering it). Tried their chocolate flavor, it was really rich and smooth.

What's really cool are the ice cream sticks on their menu board! Also note: "Scoop of ice cream & beer or stout" as an item on the board under shakes and floats. Wert? It might be slightly gross to mix ice cream and gassy beer together. Really might shake and float after having them together.
They also had this really unique corner selling odd grocery food stuff like organic lollipops, Guinness stout, chicken floss and cedele jam and drinks. Their organic lollipops (70c each) was really yummy.

See? More bottles and food displayed as decoration.

so what do you think? will you be trying out this new ice cream palor?
